Uphill
  • Select a longer club than usual (example: #4 instead of a #5)
  • Choke down on club
  • Ball tends to go left, aim right of target
  • Ball positioned ahead of center
  • More flex in left knee
  • Maintain balance: use slow, deliberate, reduced backswing
Downhill
  • Select a shorter club than usual (example: #6 instead of #5)
  • Ball tends to go right, aim left of target
  • Ball positioned back in stance (right of center for right handed golfers)
  • More flex in right knee
  • Maintain balance: use slow, deliberate, reduced backswing
Sidehill - ball below feet
  • Select a longer club than usual (example: #4 instead of #5)
  • Set up closer to the ball at address
  • Ball tends to go right, aim left of target
  • Increase flex in knees
  • Maintain balance: use slow, deliberate, reduced backswing
Sidehill - ball above feet
  • Select a longer club than usual (example: #4 instead of #5)
  • Choke down on club
  • Ball tends to go left, aim right of target
  • More weight on toes
  • Stand more upright
  • Maintain balance: use slow, deliberate, reduced backswing
